Company History 

Our company was founded in 1936 by Tim Boaz. Boaz Furniture & Appliance was established at the southeast corner of Main Street and Tennessee Avenue as a Sinclair Service Station. In 1936, Tim M. Boaz started out in the electronics business selling battery powered radios.   In 1944 he purchased the building at 203 Tennessee Avenue South and started the furniture and appliance business. In 1981 the majority interest passed to Tim D. Boaz. The business has grown ten fold in the last ten years since Boaz Tire & Auto Service was spun off to operate on its own and the Furniture Store went thru a major renovation.

In 1994 Jenny Boaz Ward came into the business with an Interior Design Degree and a desire to carry the business to a higher level. Today Boaz Furniture & Appliance in its 3rd family generation offers the best names in furniture and appliances and service that we take great pride in.
